In 2020, only a fraction of all learners affected had access to remote learning, which compelled learning institution to re-examine their education models to address issues of resilience, access, quality, and relevance.
This resulted into the propounding of a hybrid model, a combination of face-to-face and online learning, as the likely future of learning on the continent to address these challenges backed by the integration of ICT.
