In this video I show you how to use Polar Pro ND filters on the DJI Osmo Pocket. I will be demonstrating how using a slow shutter creates many different effects in camera without the need for post processing. ND filters are a necessity if you want to achieve the optimal cinematic look and have nice, smooth looking footage. This means you need to shoot with the 180 rule, which means the shutter speed needs to be double the frame rate, or at least as close as possible.
When taking photos with an ND filter or ND/Polarizer filter, it is recommended to use a tripod in order to keep intended elements sharp in the image. The ND polarizer filter will make the colors more vivid and pop out, especially the blues and greens in things like the sky, water, grass, and plants. I shot this video in downtown Miami, Florida, and South Beach. Note: this is just one video - your footage will likely be different as you may shoot differently than I do and the lighting, subjects, etc may vary.
