The European Commission will launch its second legal case against AstraZeneca over the pharmaceutical company's delayed vaccine delivery.
The move follows the commission's first case launched in April which sued the company for failing to meet its contract.
Just 29.8 million AstraZeneca doses arrived in the first quarter of the year compared to the 90 million it was supposed to deliver.
The European Union will be able to seek possible financial penalties under the new legal action.
