Hari Om!
Verses 36 to 38: Lord continues mentioning His Divine Glories. Swami Aparajitananda elaborates and clarifies their special features, context, references, etc. During the course of explanations, we come across some amazing aspects such as:
• How and by which law, in GAMBLING, winners end up as losers?
• What are kinds of glow (TEJAS)?
• When does God give us JAYA?
• Is enthusiasm, inspiration, sāttvika state of mind (SATTVA) Lord's Glory/Grace?
• Why Krishna tells Arjuna "I am you"?
• What is Vyāsa Muni's gift to Spirituality? What is special about his birthday?
• How can Shukrāchārya be Lord's Glory?
• Who understands DANDA - "Cane Upanishad"?
• What are various meanings of Nīti?
• Which arguments surely win?
Lord also says that He is KNOWLEDGE of the wise. He lights lamp in their hearts and gives Buddhi-yoga. Example of Rāmānuja, to whom theorems were revealed by Goddess, is given.
Verse 39: Each existence is dependent on God and is His Glory who is the cause of all.
Lord winds up:
Verse 40: As there is no end to His Divine Glories, these illustrations can only serve purpose of sample. The infinite nature of Divine Glories is explained fully by example of Shiva-mahimnā Stotram and Purānas.
Verse 41: The question: What is the way to recognise His Vibhūti in everything is answered. Whatever existence we wonder at, we must recognise it as reflection and expression of God's Glory; and must remain attached to Lord - not the person or thing. This will destroy our samsāra.
Verse 42: In essence, Lord says: There is no point going on describing all Vibhūtis. He pervades and supports whole world by fraction of His power of Māyā. All glories are His Glories.
Next: This fine statement in Verse 42 is seed for Arjuna's final desire to see that vision, viz. Lord in whole world (Vishvarūpa darshan as Īshvarūpa darshan). Lord gives Arjuna the vision in following Chapter 11.
