Dramatic video from Argentina captures the moment police officers sprung to action to save a choking girl on Sunday (January 9).
While patrolling in San Miguel in Buenos Aires Province, police officers Maria Laura Pagani and her colleague Diego Carrizo Villegas saw a woman with a choking girl in her arms.
They immediately stopped the police car and took the 18-month-old girl and her mother into the vehicle to transport them to ambulance care.
The two police officers have been hailed as heroes for their quick response.
Dramatic footage from dash cams in the police car shows that the infant started to breath again on the way to the hospital.
The girl is reportedly in good health, having been discharged from hospital on Sunday.
