I transferred the Bugatti Type 56 into a future scenario. Like the original, my car is meant to provide a comfortable ride on short distances e.g. in cities.
The combination of Luxury and high-tech comes across in various aspects of the car. Following the legacy of the Type 56 there is no steering wheel,but a “steering device” in the center of the interior which is simply pushed or pulled in the designated direction for a very direct driving experience.To emphasize this even more, it steers the REAR axle.I designed the passenger cabin to provide a spacious atmosphere, with the widest point being on head level anda very open view towards the street by not having a dashboard or anything alike in the front.The use of soft surfaces with subtle transitions creates a calm feeling, whereas elements like headrests and the steering device express a certain futuristic elegance to underline the luxurious high tech approach of a Bugatti.
