Massive fire broke out at a building in Mundka, Delhi at on Friday evening. Atleast 27 people have reportedly died and many are feared trapped, officials said. Rescue operation is underway. FIR has been registered in connection with the incident and owners have been arrested.
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal in a tweet said, "Shocked and pained to know about this tragic incident. I am constantly in touch with officers. Our brave firemen are trying their best to control the fire and save lives. God bless all."
PM Narendra Modi expressed his condolences and said, "Extremely saddened by the loss of lives due to a tragic fire in Delhi. My thoughts are with the bereaved families. I wish the injured a speedy recovery."
