The video is a detailed look into how to fit one of the new Cue Prodigy Break Tips. Marc Lockley from Snooker Crazy shows how to fit one of these plastic tips without using a lathe. This a very detailed video to show every element so is aimed at beginners (hence the length of the video)!
Generally this is a 15 to 20 minute job for most but as most of these type break tips are either plastic or acrylic they are very different to fit than a standard pressed or laminated tip. Due to the amount of questions this presents to players, it seemed sensible to do a step by step video so even a first time tip fitter can enjoy a better understanding of the thinking behind fitting one.
The tips are supplied from Kev Wheeler at Cue Prodigy who asked us to do a video on how we would fit them so hopefully this is useful to those who aren't sure.
The tips will be sold at a number of outlets but can also be purchased on the snooker crazy website at:
