Dell EMC R440 Stuck Entering Lifecycle Controller
Power down the server, remove the power cords, then hold down the power button for 20 seconds, this will drain the flea power from the server. After that you will open the cover and then locate the NVRAM-CLR jumper, located near where the power supplies connect to the motherboard, then move the jumper over and then add power back to the server to perform the NVRam clear procedure. Afterwards power down, drain flea power, and then restore the jumper to its original location. This time you will reinstall the power cables, but wait 2 minutes before powering the server.
To enable Lifecycle Controller" 1. Open the System Setup page by pressing (F2) during startup 2. Click iDRAC settings 3. Save changes and restart the server. However the keyboard is disabled once it reaches this area during startup.
