With Christmas quickly approaching, we are probably all thinking about gifts. Do you know what the greatest gift ever was? The gift of Jesus Christ. John tells us in his gospel that God loved us so much that He gave us His only Son so that whoever believes in Him will have everlasting life. The glory of this gift is so incredible there aren’t words to adequately describe it.
Fun Fact: the Greek word used in this passage for “indescribable” was not found in any writings prior to this…so theologians believe Paul made it up to illustrate how indescribable this gift truly was!
