The set designers managed to get an actual and accurate prop to use in this courtroom scene. However...
- The unknown "latent" print is almost always displayed on the left, not on the right as appears here.
- The script chooses to make up terms instead of using the marked features.
- There's no such thing as a "lateral slash". He points to a crease.
- Fingerprint experts don't usually refer to the anterior portion of the fingerprint. It's just called the bottom (maybe "proximal").
- There is nothing "distinctive" about the "center whirl". It's a central pocket loop whorl.
- While there is an "exact match" between all of the marked minutiae, there's no such thing as a "top swirl".
