When walking in Kuala Lumpur, make sure to look up from the street for covered walkways and check for pedestrian tunnels between major landmarks. Malaysia enjoys a strong mall culture so many parts of town are accessible entirely through covered connecting passages. The walkway in this video provides cover from the rain and welcome AC for relief from the heat/humidity for the 1/2 mile between Pavilion Mall and Suria Mall. Through a combination of sky bridges and under street pedestrian tunnels, this also connects to LRT, MRT, Monorail and several other malls.
