On Saturday, 28th February, Glasgow’s dancing families are getting involved with ‘1 Billion Rising Global Campaign’. We will help to raise money for Glasgow Women‘s Aid Charity!
Together with our ‘Dance with Babies’ Community, everyone, from babies in their carrier/slings to grandparents will be Joining a ‘Break The Chain’ flash mob dance to raise awareness for, and help bring an end to violence against women. Activists from Glasgow and surrounding areas will also take part.
Babies, mums, dads, sisters, brothers, aunties, uncles, grans and grandads, counsins and friends – WE NEED YOU!
We're rising because we believe in justice, an we want to put an END to violance, rape culture, sexual abuse of women & girls worldwide.
On 28th February 2015 at 12pm, we are kindly asking all of you to join us to rise and dance together for justice, in Glasgow City’s St.Enoch Square and help to raise money for Glasgow Women‘s Aid.
Glasgow will join cities around the world across 200+ countries on Global Campaign “One Billion Rising Revolution”. We are inviting all families around Scotland to support our fundraising event and global campaign.
