Voters in New Orleans, Louisiana, are headed to the polls on Nov. 13 to decide if they want new leadership or move forward with the city's current mayor LaToya Cantrell.
Key issues for voters are how the city's leadership will tackle rising crime and address its aging infrastructure.
Fourteen people are vying for this position and incumbent Mayor Cantrell remains the frontrunner in the race. She is seeking a second term but has faced both criticism and praise on how she's handled some major issues in the city, including Hurricane Ida and the COVID-19 crisis.
BNC correspondent Jamiese Price joins Laverne McGee on “BNC Live” from New Orleans to provide the latest.
