The market of on-site solar for C&I customers has started maturing in Sub-Saharan Africa in the last few years. The dominant business model up till now is direct purchase, however, some companies are also offering financing options including PPA and rental & leasing.
Antoine Prédour, Head of Energy Debt at responsaAbility, was joined by Takehiro Kawahara, Frontier Power Sr. Associate at Boomberg NEF, and Lydia van Os, Project Manager at Solarplaza, to discuss the main drivers of the C&I-solar market and the current landscape of business players and business models.
Topics addressed in this webinar:
-A maturing C&I solar market, what are the drivers behind the uptake and where is project development happening?
-The landscape of business players and business models: dominated by direct purchase, PPA’s on the rise?
-What are the barriers for faster market growth, and how to overcome these?
This webinar is part of Solarplaza's lead up to the Unlocking Solar Capital Africa conference taking place on 16-17 October, 2019 in Dakar, Senegal. For more information about the event and the program, please visit: [ Ссылка ]
