The only UK mobile from Cobra was the Maxon made 21XFM. Other than the SOS kit & two hideaway sets in the 90's.....nothing until the two CB27/94 sets that came in 1999.

This set was said by the customer to be working fine. However TX power was low & RX sensitivity was improved too. Bizarrely, the squelch sensitivity was very poor & after work including five component changes can now be described as 'poor', with s dreadful 8uV sensitivity. Enough to work around scratchy corner though.
