Hi Lash Gang!

Let’s talk Retention! Who’s responsibility really is it? Oftentimes, lash techs come to us and tell us that their retention sucks even though clients are following the aftercare. Well...maybe its you babe. We think it’s 70% the artists responsibility and 30% the clients responsibility.
Here’s Why:
If the artist is using poor quality products or doesn’t assess the natural lash health before application, the artist isn’t exactly setting the client up for success. They can follow all the aftercare instructions perfectly and still end up with poor retention because maybe the lashes were too heavy for the naturals to support or the low quality glue lost it’s hold.
If the lash artist holds up their end of the deal, the client should have no excuse not to maintain their lash artist’s beautiful work!
Of course, there will still be a handful of clients who don’t follow aftercare but that’s not on the artist if they educated their client and provided/directed them to aftercare products.
