Michael Beale speaks after Old Firm defeat at Ibrox: "I don't think everything at Rangers is broken and everything at Celtic is rosy after today's game. Two teams played today. We made a huge mistake for a goal. We had chances to score and win that game. We didn't so look... We'll have to dust ourselves down. We've got two weeks to work on our training pitches. It's a good period for us barring the internationals who are away. And then we have to come back. I think we have five games in fifteen days when we come back. So it's a chance for un in that moment to show improvement."

Kyogo Furuhashi: Rangers' Unstoppable Adversary
Despite Rangers' substantial efforts, Kyogo Furuhashi remains an unstoppable force in their encounters. Their acquisition of Jack Butland, a top-tier goalkeeper, did not stymie Furuhashi's charge. Even the addition of eight outfield players over the summer had no discernible effect. And, playing on their home turf in front of a roaring crowd of 50,000 fans, minus Celtic supporters, didn't seem to shift the scales either.
Despite facing adversities such as the loss of significant players Jota, Carl Starfelt, and Cameron Carter-Vickers in the summer, Celtic remained unaffected in their clash at Ibrox.
In all four Old Firm encounters this year, Furuhashi emerged as the defining player. Rangers manager, Michael Beale, may very well lose sleep over the sheer impact of this formidable athlete. In an otherwise chaotic match characterized by numerous errors and heightened intensity, Furuhashi's skills stood out, setting him apart from the rest.
Recalling his consistent performance, one can't forget his contributions: the tie-breaker in January, decisive goals in February and April, and his latest masterstroke. With just moments remaining in the first half, Furuhashi seized the opportunity and netted a magnificent volley, ensuring Celtic's first Old Firm victory of the season.
Rangers, despite their hefty investments in offensive talents, seem to be lacking that decisive spark. Summer recruits like Sam Lammers, Danilo, Jose Cifuentes, and Abdallah Sima are yet to produce results. While Lammers and Danilo had opportunities during the game, their efforts fell short.
Celtic's defence showed resilience despite expectations. Liam Scales, especially, defied critics and stood solid. However, Rangers lacked the finesse to exploit any chinks in Celtic's armour, much to the dismay of their passionate fans.
The contested goal during the first half further fueled tensions. A potential goal by Rangers was negated by VAR, raising questions about Dessers' involvement in a pivotal play. But, pointing fingers at this decision would be a mere deflection from Rangers' broader problems.
Rangers, despite dominating possession, couldn't capitalize on their opportunities. In contrast, Celtic overcame their own limitations, especially with the absence of key players like Reo Hatate.
Celtic's win was a testament to their resilience and the leadership of their coach, Rodgers. Their victory at Ibrox adds another feather to Rodgers' already illustrious cap against Rangers. With the return of players like Carter-Vickers, Maik Nawrocki, and young talents like Odin Holm, the future looks promising for Celtic.
On the other hand, for Rangers' coach, Beale, the journey seems uphill. Despite managing nearly 40 games since his tenure began in mid-December, a significant victory remains elusive. As he approaches his 43rd birthday, a period of reflection and strategic reassessment might be in order, rather than celebrations.
