Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai has requested the Lieutenant Governor (LG) to consult with the central government about initiating artificial rain in the capital as an emergency measure to combat rising pollution levels. In a letter to the LG, Rai also suggested changing the work hours of central and state government offices to reduce vehicle congestion on roads, which could help decrease pollution.
