The swap involves installing outer tie rods from a 1970 LTD, spindles master cylinder and brake components from a 1978 thunderbird, and replacement ball joints for the 54 year old original components.This time I tackle the brake master cylinder, proportioning valve, and the brake lines. This is the galaxie I bought from a friend back in the summer and have been replacing the factory front drum brakes with a disk brake setup out of a 1978 thunderbird.
