Paddle worms (phyllodocids) are a type of polychaete worm that have modified a portion of their segments into flattened, paddle-like shapes. They use their paddles to zoom around in the ocean and outmanoeuvre prey. This video was taken by Maggie Georgieva of London's Natural History Museum, one of the scientists on the voyage.
