A woman died after she was shot during a domestic violence incident on Sunday.
According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, officers were called to a home on Teresa Lane near Thompson Avenue around 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Police say a woman was found shot and was later pronounced dead from her injuries. Investigators say the shooting stemmed from a domestic violence dispute.
Officers were speaking to a male believed to be a suspect at the home. Investigators are looking to learn more about the deadly incident. They have not determined what led to the domestic violence incident turning deadly.
