Jawa has rolled in its third bike in the 42 series – the Jawa 42 FJ – with prices starting from ₹ 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The neo retro rendition of a Jawa roadster has grown in size with a beefier, cleaner and more proportionate look. It is powered by the same 334 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled Alpha-2 mill that is found on most Jawa and Yezdi bikes. The tune on the 42 FJ is such that it makes 28.80 bhp and 29.6 Nm, with gear-based engine mapping aiming to help it offer good all-round rideability.
