A federal court in Abuja finally lifts an order by the Nigerian government freezing the bank accounts of endears protestors. The central bank, which is of course the regulator of the commercial banks, had initially taken the action ostensibly to investigate allegations against the protestors, including the financing of terrorism, but that investigation appears now to have fizzled out. So is this a victory of sorts for the endsars protest movement? Or is the punishment of the protestors not over yet for daring to take to the streets against the government? We'll speak to their lawyer - the senior advocate of Nigeria and human rights champion, Femi Falana, about this and about the disobedience of court orders, which remains a major problem in Nigeria and across Africa..
#FemiFalana, the lawyer representing the endsars protestors was interviewed by #CharlesAniagolu. Produced by #NissiGabriel.
