The International Arctic Forum has just concluded in Russia, attracting over 1,500 delegates from 14 nations. The event puts the spotlight on environmental issues plaguing the Arctic and the polar region's rich natural resources. Also in focus was the socio-economic development of the region, with China and Russia keen on joining hands in projects in the Arctic.
