Mala Rohan is a small village in Kharkiv oblast which was deoccupied end of March. The front line was pushed back and people started returning back home, despite the potential danger related to close explosions and destruction of infrastructure. The medical facility and the school in the village are destroyed as well as one third of the houses, and two thirds of the houses have damaged roofs, windows or barns. The electricity is already restored in the village along with mobile communication and water supply, but the issue with the gas is not fixed yet.
Nevertheless, about 40 families are back to Mala Rohan at the moment. These are mostly the families whose houses have been slightly damaged. People in Need is supporting the residents of Mala Rohan and has already provided food kits for 40 households. Thanks to this assistance the food needs of the average family are covered for two or three weeks.
