How long has The Simpsons been on for? Well long enough that a lot of it's jokes just wouldn't fly today. Not just because sense of humour changes from generation to generation, but also because as network television becomes more open to things like nudity and violence, you will find less jokes that may come off as racist, sexist or insensitive.
