A flight from Faro, Portugal to Madeira. In the Classic 707 by Captain Sim.
One to watch for pilots who like to fly at night! Especially the night lighting approach into 05 at Madeira, which is accurately depicted with this Aerosoft Madeira Scenery. Allowing us to simulate the wonderful manual approach! ( at +47 minutes) The approach lights begin at "Gelo" and guide us in. Pilots who may have flown this approach know height is crucial on approach...Especially in the notorious Madeira crosswinds!
Flown with a triple crew provided by Multi Crew Experience. Here, Clive's the first officer and Lorna is the flight engineer, she is working the radios, after being given control of them, in this flight, by the captain!
If anyone wishes to return to the early days of jet aviation, this is one simulation in which you may achieve that! There is no FMC so your route planning and flying has to be worked at. Fortunately we have a crew of three and a flying challenge with all the rewards that brings!
( Are you still flying a commercial jet alone, single crewed? Is that a "simulation"? Questions I asked myself before MCE!)
Flying with an MCE First Officer and a Flight Engineer, we can use the authentic 707 triple crew checklists and procedure flows to assist in providing that accurate simulation experience.

The procedure flight flows seen in this video and checklists, may be downloaded from Avsim Library, search "David Herky". Full install instructions included in the download. Then amend/add to them as you wish to personalise your aircraft. Enjoy the hobby!
If you enjoyed the fire procedure flows from the 727 and J41, there is an enhanced Avsim download for the 707, which includes my MCE Vox Script fire procedure flows for each of the four engines! File is "cs707_mce_enhanced_scripts.zip" , search for " David Herky". You may experience engine fires in this great aircraft and have the first officer and flight engineer run the flows to shut down the relevant engines.

In case your wondering, I don't work for the firm that produces MCE. I just found that this software helps me to have a flight simulator that mirrors the flying experience, with more accuracy and became an enthusiastic user!
Are you still flying commercial jets alone, single crewed and is this a simulator experience? A question I asked myself before finding MCE! The beauty of it is, that if you don't like a flow or a checklist you can amend it! This adds that creative edge to it, especially if you are used to taking control yourself!
You don't need to buy any extra add ons for MCE, you can easily use Vox Script (comes with it!) to do it yourself! Makes it more challenging and rewarding.
