Engineer is one of the best units really early game but it has trouble defending at the beginning of the match for some reason which is why I advice putting rank 2 hunter there as soon as possible and shortly after 1st boss merge units to get as many engineers next to each other as you can sins they perform way better late game, also íf you already have Ivy she's really good for early game to beat the normal mobs before 1st and 2nd boss so you could use her instead of hunter.
