Plarn mats are made from plastic shopping bags that have been cut into loops, made into plarn (plastic + yarn), and crocheted into mats for the homeless. In this video, Lily Schwartz, Wisconsin 4-H member, teaches youth and adult volunteers how to cut plastic shopping bags into loops as part of a service project.
