Hello Friends! Welcome Back to another Nighttime Pouring episode! I just finished pouring my 'Galaxy Far Far Away' pour for our May the Fourth Be With You mini collab with Masse Art Studio, and I still have some paint left. I really love effects of the wandering straight pour with these colors, so lets do another one and change up the order of the colors a bit. Lets get started...
Colors
Folk Art Treasure Gold
- Antique Copper
- Aquamarine
- Platinum

Golden's
- Payne's Gray
- Anthraquinone Blue
- Dioxizine Purple (plus some
-Pink Tourmaline )

DecoArt Americana Decor
Metallics
- 24K Gold

Flow Extender:

Pouring Medium:
Liquitex Gloss Medium
Paint + a bit of Water
Floetrol
There is NO Silicone
in Any of My Paint.

I start out by layering my cup, but instead of starting with Paynes Gray and Anthraquinone Blue, I want to start with the Aquamarine. I layer a 16 ounce cup carefully down the side, light dark light dark. I thin out the rest of my gold in my cup with water, and apply it to the canvas with my OXO Omelette Turner. Then I pour my cup from one corner to next in a wandering straight pour. I love the pattern that emerges and Im loving these colors together. There is a beautiful section in the center with a really gorgeous gradation of the colors. from the darker blues all the way to the aquamarine. Its got this almost gasoline-y iridescent look to it.. on the sides there are more dramatic areas with copper and clouds and some really beautiful cells popping thru the colors. I am really happy with how this one turned out!
