In Abaji, Nigeria, the closest water source was a stream that was 10kms away from the village. The entire community relied on this stream for all of their water needs. Nestlé Waters decided to build a factory close to the village of Abaji. Nestlé Waters provided the village with free access to drinking water by placing a fountain in their community. Nestlé Water fountains were also placed in 1000 other villages in Nigeria. We also build a technical training centre to educate the local community.
