A lengthy video, so here are the bullet points...
- Get a pair of gloves, preferably made from cowhide, it gives you added confidence to reach for your possibly snappy snake.
- If you're planning on taking them out, do so. Don't let a hiss or a bite stop you or they'll learn what works to keep you away.
- Handle them weekly if possible, even if just for a few minutes.
- Get them familiar to your scent by placing a worn T-shirt or pillowcase in their enclosure.
- Don't switch up your smell while working on taming/bonding.
- Don't rush anything, each animal acclimates at a different pace.
And for our comment section, tell me your experience with taming your snake and things you tried.
