Today, at Zoo Tampa, the dedicated staff are introducing Piers the African Crested Porcupine to a crowd of excited visitors. The staff have trained Piers to pick between two cones by indicating which one is scented and are performing this trick for the first time in front of a live audience. A volunteer from the crowd is chosen to decide where the scented cone is placed and then the moment comes to discover whether the loving zookeepers months of training with Piers has paid off..
