Abrian Curington is a visual storyteller and cartographer living and working in Washington State, USA. After receiving a BA in Fine Art from Western Washington University, she began publishing comics and maps through her company Blue Cat Co., resulting in multiple digital releases, a full-length graphic novel WOOLMANCY and two graphic novellas.
She then decided to renew her love for deep space and ocean sciences, receiving a Capstone Certificate in GIS Fundamentals from University of Wisconsin—Madison. Since then, she has earned an Artist-at-Sea Residency aboard the Research Vessel Falkor, a Science Communication Fellowship aboard the Exploration Vessel Nautilus, and will be serving as an Onboard Outreach Officer aboard the Research Vessel JOIDES Resolution this Spring.
However, from fantasy to non-fiction, she is dedicated to producing light-hearted visual stories that ignite curiosity and champion exploration.
