(8 May 2014) The regional council in the western Ukrainian city of Lviv paid honour to the victims of the Second World War on Thursday with a special ceremony attended by local residents and officials.
They brought flowers and candles to the former concentration camp "Shtalah-328".
The camp was built by the German army to house Soviet soldiers, Jews and other nationalities.
The camp existed from 1941 to 1944 in Lviv and it's estimated around 140 thousand people lost their lives there.
Local residents also visited a former prison that is now a museum, as they paid their respects.
