Rasam Vada is basically Crispy Fried Vada / Bonda served with Spicy and Flavorful Rasam.
Ingredients: (4-5 Person)
To make paste:
1 Small Onion
8-10 Small Garlic Cloves
1 Ginger
1 Green Chilly
15-20 Black Peppercorn
5-7 Curry Leaves
1/4 tsp Cumin Seeds
Water
To Make Rasam:
4 Grated Tomatoes
1 Cup Tamarind Water
1 tsp Oil
1/4 tsp Mustard Seeds
1/4 tsp Asafoetida
8-10 Curry Leaves
3 Dry Red Chillies
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
2 tsp Red Chilly Powder
2 tsp Coriander Cumin Powder
1/2 tsp Sambar / Rasam Masala
1 tsp Fresh Coriander
Cooked Toordal
Water as Require
To make Bonda:
1 Cup Soaked Blackgram
1 tsp Ginger Chilly Paste
1 tbsp Fresh Coriander
1/4 tsp Cumin Seeds
Salt to Taste
For Tadka:
1/2 tsp Oil
1 tbsp Split Black Gram
1/4 tsp Asafoetida
