This is another battery teardown in which I take a look closer at rechargeable Nickel-cadmium batteries also called NiCd. Despite the fact that Nickel-cadmium batteries were banned for their toxicity at least in the European Union, you can still find them in old tools and devices. You will see in the video that it was quite challenging to take them apart and I had to use even a power tool.
