Takeaways from Webinar:
- Scaling options in Kubernetes including HPA, Cluster Autoscaler, Manual scaling
- Need for Kubernetes based Event Driven Autoscaling (KEDA)
- Live demos of Producer and Consumer for RabbitMQ queue
- KEDA Architecture
- KEDA scalers and event sources
Why KEDA?
A Kubernetes-based Event Driven Autoscaler is called KEDA. With KEDA, you can use the number of events that must be handled to determine how large any Kubernetes container should be. A lightweight and single-purpose Kubernetes component called KEDA can be added to any cluster.
Why do we use Keda?
Users can set up their clusters to scale the replicas of their applications according to events. It functions by utilizing parts referred to as Scalers, which are essential triggers that react to events. In any Kubernetes cluster, KEDA can be used as a lightweight deployment.
