When it comes to dog pee spots in your lawn, they can be extra bad coming out of winter. They have had all winter long to sit, on the top do the soil, concentrated and not flushing though the grass profile. This compounds an issue that is prevalent through the lawn season, but when it doesn’t flush because the soil is frozen, and we get really bad burn marks on our lawn. The fixes are procedural starting with flushing the soil. Dog urine is urea, the same thing we use in our fertilizers. When it goes heavy on our lawns, it burns like a fertilizer.
