PREVIOUSLY ON FINAL FANTASY VI ADVANCE:

Cid lives! The brilliant engineer who could teach kids to cast cure and artificially infuse soldiers with magic from Espers apparently didn't remember to eat for three days! Also, he couldn't of whipped up a potion or something? A little weird, but we all know the cure for any sickness is fast-moving delicious fish grabbed straight from the ocean and directly given to to the patient without any sort of cooking or preparation. So we managed to get Cid healthy again, but there are some who seem to think the story is better if he dies. So just for kicks, we'll play Devil's Advocate and see what happens when he dies. BUT the game going-forward will still be the saved game where he lives.

IN THIS CHAPTER:

Thing's are going to get a little dark. Apparently, there were other people on the island before Celes woke up, but they all lost hope and committed suicide. Could it be because Cid has the only house (and bed) on the island and seems to be keeping it for himself (well, technically for Celes...)? So we're going to see what happens if Cid dies. You want a fish, Grandpa? Ok, I'll go get you any fish I see. And I'll take my sweet time doing it too. The scene that ensues is kind of intense. Watch for youself.
