ENGLISH TRANSLATION LESSON [1]

Assalam o alaikum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatah ,
I'm your brother abdul wahab aansheni,
In today's introductory videos, I would like to share three things with you,
1. How many fundamental maqamat are there and what are their names ?
2. How many levels are maqamat read in ?
3. What do you need to know before learning maqamat ?
There are 7 fundamental maqamat, and the and the experts of this art have made a simple pneumonic to remember their names

: Nahawand " ن
: Ajam " ع
: Bayati " ب
: Sikaah " س
: Hijaaz " ح
: Rast " ر
: Kurd " ك
This art is also known as study of melody and also the study of maqamat and also quranic melodies and they are also called the art of accents when these melodies are used in reciting the ayat of the glorious Qur'an their expression is unique rather, the expression of these melodies by each qari is different from other qaris .
Begin their recitation in maqam bayyat but I will present these maqamat to you in the sequence of text.
One should know that there are three levels in reciting every maqam, and the three levels are dependent on the state and the quality of the reciters qari's voice,
That qarar is recited at the lower level with a dignified voice, and jawab is recited it the middle level with balance, and jawab ul jawab is recited at a very high level with control,
What is qaraar ?
Qaraar is the beginning level of every maqam,
Meaning the, base, of each maqam, in which the voic is at the lower level ,
What is jawab ?
Jawab is the middle level of each maqam. In which the level of the voice is a degree higher than qarar,
And jawab ul jawab is the highest level of each maqam, in which the voice is raised to very high notes,
And the third thing which is required and very important before learning maqamat and accents of the Qur'an is to recite the noble Qur'an properly according to the rules of tajweed and that during recitation all the rules of tajweed are followed and observed if anyone is weak in the knowledge and application of the rules of tajweed then first and foremost they should study and learn tajwed they should correct the pronunciation of the qur'anic letters and then only after this move to learning the art of Voice,
