ADHD & giftedness are found together commonly (twice exceptionality) as well being confused for one another.
Someone who is gifted…
“Exhibits high performance capability in an intellectual, creative, or artistic area;
possesses an unusual capacity for leadership; or excels in a specific academic field (TEC 29.121).”
In a previous poll here on my page, many of my followers reported being diagnosed as gifted in childhood.
