Our next speaker on TEDxRakowicka - The Next Chapter - Ryan Socash is an American journalist and media expert, host of the Poland in Undiscovered and Kult America program. Managing director of the Polish branch of Mediakraft and adviser to the management board of Q Polska TV. His speech will be about kids from a small class. my talk to “I was a small class kid”. I was diagnosed with dyslexia in 3rd grade and moved into a class for people with special learning needs, the class was well known to other students as the “small class” and was comprised of students who had a variety of learning disabilities. This eventually often put me into dangerous situations and by the age of 12 my only friends were people in Gangs who sold drugs. My mother fought the state to have me removed from the “LD” class which was a very difficult thing to achieve but I’m grateful every day that she did so as the vast majority of my fellow classmates who didn’t leave the class are either dead or in jail today - yet somehow I’m the MD of a major media company.. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at [ Ссылка ]
