Udom Suk is a great area to escape from the Central Business District (CBD) of Bangkok and hang with locals. You can take a taxi or BTS and exit BTS Station Udom Suk and start walking. As you exit the BTS station you will see plenty of places to get food but as you get further from the BTS Station Udom Suk starts to become less busy until you hit my favorite night time food market, "Udom Suk Walk."

In some ways Udom Sulk Walk is similar to other night markets in Bangkok and you will mos def find new food you have never eaten before. In my experience Udom Suk prices are relatively cheaper than the many other night markets tourists like to visit. If you enjoy trying a variety of different foods, Udom Suk Walk is a great place to go. Most nights there is free live entertainment with local singers and bands performing in the open air. If you like mingling with locals, Udom Suk Walk is a good spot.

Unlike Jodd Fair and some of the night markets that are more touristy and offer more westernized than asian options, Udom Suk walk offers more local flavors and food selection.
