2018 Mercedes-Benz GLS-class | Interior Review

According to Mercedes-Benz’s corporate taxonomy, the GLS-class should match the S-class for style and luxury. While this model hasn’t yet achieved that level of opulence, it’s an appropriately cushy cockpit for one of the brand’s best SUVs.
What’s New for 2018?
There were no changes to the GLS-class’s interior this year, so the standard offerings remain a little plebeian for a vehicle this pricey. There are plenty of optional upgrades that can up the ante, however, and features such as massaging front seats and heated and cooled cupholders add the luxury touch we’re looking for in a Benz.

Interior Space Comparisons
The first- and second-row seats are very comfortable, and even the third row is roomy enough for adults. Power-folding second-row seats are optional and make access to the third row easy, but that power operation would be hampered by a child seat mounted in the second row—something to keep in mind for families with young children.
