Chest Trauma-Trauma Core 2023 (Expires 10/20/2025)
Target Audience: Children’s National nursing staff
Objectives:
1. To familiarize with different types of thoracic injuries
2. To know the indications and appropriate handling of chest draining devices (e.g., pigtail, chest tube)
3. To identify the alarming signs of decompensation
Successful Completion for Nursing:
1) View the entire session
2) Find the verifying word
3) Complete the online evaluation and attestation of completion (located at the end of the session)
You will be asked for the verifying word.
You will not receive CNEs without it.
