The Caucasus forms a chain of mountains separating Georgia to the South from Russia to the North. North of the main chain lies Europe's highest mountain, Elbrus at 5642m.
This is a documentary of a 2004 trek exploring the valley's, Glaciers and mountains of the Caucasus and reaching our first peak Gumachi, 3805m. Our main objective is the summiting of Elbrus, 5642m from Terskol. At the end of the trek we visit St. Petersburg.
