Some hazardous waste generators are limited to the amount of days that hazardous waste may remain on their site without requiring a permit as a treatment, storage, or disposal facility (TSDF). Due to the COVID-19 public health emergency (as of 04.28.20) USEPA created an "enforcement discretion" which allows for an undetermined extension to these on-site accumulation time limits. This "enforcement discretion" is explained in a temporary policy of the USEPA.
