STORYLINE:
US President George W Bush has arrived in Jordan where he will meet the Israeli and Palestinian prime ministers.
The presidential plane, Air Force One, touched down in the town of Aqaba from Sharm el-Sheik, where Bush met Arab leaders to garner support for his road map for peace in the Middle East.
In Aqaba, Bush will meet Prime Minister Ariel Sharon of Israel and Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas, known as Abu Mazen, first separately, then in a three-way summit. He is also planning to meet Jordan's King Abdullah II.
Bush is counting on both Abu Mazen and Sharon both to take steps launching a three-year blueprint for the end of 32 months of violence and the creation of a Palestinian state by 2005.
